Shawnee Smith (born July 3 1970, 5 feet tall' 3 is an American film and television actress and musician. Smith is well known for her roles in the roles of Amanda Young in the Saw films and Linda from the CBS comedy Becker. Smith was once the frontwoman of Fydolla which was a rock group that toured America and Britain. Smith is now half of Smith & Pyle a country-oriented desert rock group along with Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith born in Orangeburg South Carolina, is the second of two children to Patricia Smith who worked as an oncology nurse. Jim Smith also served with US Air Force and was a financial advisor. In Van Nuys in California, Smith's family relocated when she was a newborn. Their parents split after she was two. Her mother married again at the age of eight.
